Jump on, Earthlets!

Cover art by Chris Burnham.
This week's issue of 2000AD is another "jumping on point" with every story in the comic being the first chapter of a new serial. An ideal opportunity for new readers and lapsed readers to start buying the UK's longest-running adventure comics weekly. It also sees the return of 1980s classic Bad Company for an all-new run by Peter Milligan, Rufus Dayglo and Jim McCarthy.

2000AD Prog 1950 is out on Wednesday 30th September, price £2.55. Want to know more? Visit the Forbidden Planet International Blog where there are previews of all the strips in this issue!

200OAD & the Megazine have been really uping their game recently with some lovley art and cool stories (in the past few years they have not been consistent , especially the megazine) Saying that I am curently buying the (very good - but for me still a bit pricey) megazine for Paul Grists strip, but 2000AD looks very good as well so down to W H SMiths I go in the morning (nice to see Colin McNeil back on 2000AD)

Th Meg is great the last while, the inclusion of Demon Nic is a big plus.

Yes, I think the line up of both comics is very strong at the moment. It's always good to see Paul Grist's work.
