Drink and Draw in Birmingham

It's always been my policy never to drink and draw, but there's an event that actually revels in it. All in good humour of course. No one's being expected to sink five pints before attempting a page for 2000AD. Moderation is the key, and on Saturday 21st April you can join the pleasantries at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the latest Drink and Draw evening. It takes place in the Edwardian Tearooms, so if your tipple is tea, that's fine too.

I doubt I'll be able to make it but here's the info for anyone who wishes to attend...

Drink and Draw returns to The Edwardian Tearooms... and this time bring the young 'uns. Drink and Draw will be Family Friendly on the 21st of April.

A free social drawing event for anyone who likes to doodle.
Pens, pencils and paper provided!

Have you ever sat at the day job and doodled on your work during meetings?
Have you ever attended College/University to find yourself sketching on your notes as the Lecturer loses your interest?
Have you ever found yourself scribbling on a beer mat as the conversation at the pub fails to pique your interest?
Do you like alcohol and cool bars?

Have you answered "yes" to any of the questions above? If so, join us! Put yourself in place where doodling on something isn't frowned upon. Let your alcohol assisted creativity soar... and most importantly... drink and draw!
The event is taking place in the Edwardian Tearooms at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Drink and Draw starts at 6.30pm, the tearooms open at 6pm.
No booking required, just drop-in.
