Essentially historical

Not a comic but of interest to some of you, the 8th issue of The Essential Doctor Who (the companion publication to Doctor Who Magazine) is in the shops now, with its theme being Adventures in History.  

The 116 page bookazine is packed with features on all the Doctor Who stories that had a historical setting or connection such as The Crusade, Marco Polo, The Talons of Weng-Chiang and many more. There are also interviews with various Doctor Who stars and creatives including actor Anneke Wills, writer Donald Cotton, costume designer Odie Dicks-Mireaux and more.
