Here's a few photos that people took on Sunday. You'll find more on the Down the Tubes blog (that all of you should be reading every day if you're not already) with Antony Esmond's review of the event:

Speaking of Tim Quinn, his biography Argh! is on sale now from Miwk Publishing. It's a flip book, with Dicky Howett's biography Drawing Breath on the other side. I'll be reviewing it soon when I've finished reading it. Enjoying it so far! You can order copies from the publisher here:

The next event I will be attending will be Macc-Pow! on June 25th in Macclesfield. More info on that soon!

Thanks, Lew. Stuart Reynolds tells me that although numbers were down (the weather was incredible!) the event made almost as much for library funds as last year. There are some things we'll look at for next year, particularly the adult admission prices, but overall, the Friends of Lancaster Library were pleased with the event. Can't say at this point what will happen next year as Lancashire faces swingeing cuts to library services. Hoping we can make an announcement soon.
That's good, John. I hope it can take place again next year. There was a very nice atmosphere to the event and it was a pleasure to be there.
