As previously reported, following last year's successful Scream and Misty Halloween Special, Rebellion will be publishing another all-new edition for this Halloween.
The standard cover will be by Kyle Hotz (below) and sold in newsagents and comic shops from October 17th, but there's also a variant Misty cover edition by Lenka Šimečková that you can only obtain by ordering it directly from the publisher at this link:

With more treats than tricks, this issue features Black Max by Kek-W and Simon Coleby, 13th Floor by Guy Adams, John Stokes and Frazer Irving, Black Beth by Alec Worley and DaNi, Best Friends Forever by Lizzie Boyle and Yishan Li, and Decomposition Jones by Richard McAuliffe and Steve Mannion.
There'll be more details about this hotly anticipated special next month!

That newsagent cover looks absolutely beautiful. But still, I felt last year's special was quite lacklustre, like an advert for their graphic novel collections rather than a comic in its own right. Not sure if I'll splash out this year or not.
I'll have a free PDF to review, but I always buy a paper copy of their comics (and most books) anyway.
Most of the stories in the first special were self-contained apart from Death-Man, which did expect the readers to come back months later (via The Vigilant) to see the follow-up. I didn't mind the plugs for the books, as it made sense to tell readers they could obtain the old versions of the stories.
