I suspect the whopping great Tardis is a very intentional way of catching the eye of browsers unfamiliar with the new logo who might otherwise overlook the issue whilst scanning the shelves for their monthly fix of DWM.
Yes, very likely. Also the lack of new photos of Jodie Whittaker in costume would limit things a bit, but that'll be remedied in the months to come.
