Casey Court Brordcasting Stashun (1932)

The wonderful Casey Court cartoon took up half of the back page of Illustrated Chips for many years, with the residents of the Court taking on different things every week. Here, they set up their own "Brordcasting Stashun", very topical back when this appeared!

This fantastic cartoon is by Albert Pease and appeared on the back of Illustrated Chips No.2198, dated October 22nd, 1932.

Just brilliant...Casey Court for Rebellion to print...well you never know...

I doubt that Rebellion will think there's a large enough interest for humour material of this vintage unfortunately. By the way, did you get the Casey Court book that Mike Higgs put together years ago? A lot of good examples in that.

I’ve just been checking out the comic strips! Albert Pease was my Great Uncle and his Brother, Harry Ernest Pease was my Grandad! I remember him teaching me how to draw comic characters when I was around 10! 😊
